NAMI Connects Peer Mentor

Come join our amazing team of NAMI Connects Peer Mentors! Peer Mentors support adult peers admitted to one of the metro area’s Providence Emergency Departments (ED) for urgent psychiatric care, and their families. NAMI’s Peer Mentors give their time to assure that peers and their families feel heard, and understand that they are not alone. They develop a rapport with the peer and the peer’s family, by offering a listening ear, empathy, their own personal story, and information about NAMI Multnomah programs.
