NAMI Family Support Groups are peer-led support groups for adults with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of mental illness. Every group is offered free of charge, and no registration or enrollment is required. All of these groups are facilitated by trained individuals who are family members of people with mental health conditions.
NAMI support groups offer a flexible and casual environment without an educational format. You will learn about local resources and gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others. The groups follow a structured model to ensure you and others have an opportunity to be heard and to get what you need out of the session.
For more information about our free programs, or to learn which programs might best fit your needs, please give us a call on the NAMI Multnomah Helpline at 503-228-5692 or send an email to info@namimultnomah.org.
